From The Head Chair
Greetings everyone!
My name is Leangchinh (LC) and I am honoured to serve as Head Chair for UN Women for CIACAMUNV. This conference is really special to me as this marks my third year chairing as I started my chairing journey in CIACAMUN. This is going to be my 24th conference and 12th time chairing.
UN WOMEN is an UN Agency that focuses on uplifting women/girls and strengthening their rights in various aspects. With the uprisings of gender equality discussions, advocations for women’s rights and challenging different social norms that affects women, it is important to discuss about these matters in the MUN community.
It is crucial to note that UN Women is a committee to build ideas and collaborate with different nations to combat gender inequality and empowering women all around the world, so it is important to take discussions seriously and respectfully. I am excited to see everyone with their ideas and initiatives.

My name is Putheka, and I am a Grade 11 student at Northbridge International School Cambodia. It is my greatest pleasure to serve as your Deputy Chair for the UN Women committee at this year's CIACAMUN.
Having participated in several MUN conferences and served as a member of the Secretariat for NISCMUN, I have gained valuable skills in diplomacy, communication, and collaboration. These experiences strengthened my appreciation for meaningful debate and the significance of collaborating to address global concerns. As your Deputy Chair, I aim to promote a respectful and engaging environment. I encourage each of you to make the most of this conference, engage in debate, and embrace every opportunity to learn and grow throughout your MUN experience.
I am forward to work alongside my Head Chair and observe the insightful and fruitful debates that you will bring to this committee.
