From The Head Chair
Fellow chairs, distinguished delegates, esteemed members of the EXECOM and directors, My name is Alissa Sheen, and it is my pleasure to serve as the head chair of Security Council for this iteration of CIACAMUN alongside my honourable deputy chair.
With CIACAMUN I encourage each and every one of you to strive and make the most of your experience during this conference, to challenge conventional thinking and to explore new pathways for international cooperation.
Security Council is unlike any other committee in the United Nations, and it is imperative that every delegate gathered showcases that standard.
I hope that with this conference you will not only create a stronger passion for debate and collaboration, but you will also develop into a more critical citizen in today’s world.

Hello delegates, my name is Lunaïs Jouquet Ricoy and I'm a sophmore at LFRD.
As your deputy chair here at CIACAMUN I hope to bring reassurance and the passion of diplomacy to all the lost first timers who havent yet explored the beauty of resolution writing and negociation. A supportive and intellectual environment to all the experienced delegates who crave a community with whom they can debate intellectually and expand their critical thinking.
The Security Council addresses threats to international peace and security: this function is becoming ever more critical as the world edges closer into chaos and humanitarian crises do not cease to worsen.
