Greetings Honorable Chairs, distinguished delegates, and directors.
It is my absolute privilege to welcome you to the 5th iteration of the CIACAMUN Conference.
The theme of this year's conference "Navigating Adversities, Sharing Responsibilities", stresses the cooperation and collaboration of mutualparties to navigate the world's greatest challenges, as the world unfortunately continues to stray further from dialogue and connection as a means to resolve mutual problems. As Delegates, you will engage in diplomatic debates, challenge and be challenged by clashing ideas from not only peers, but new faces as well. All of this falls in line with the attributes of global citizens and future world leaders.
With this, I cannot wait to see your engagement in thought-provoking, and brilliant debates over the next couple of days. Your willingness to tackle global issues through the use of dialogue will serve as great foundations for shaping the world to be a better place.
